Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role in the film Bo. Silk was produced by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter who was an academic, and Peter Silk, an actor, director, producer, playwright, educator, and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna has some of her earliest memories of watching and attending play rehearsals. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still a kid. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early shows: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999, to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training held in Los Angeles in 2007. The couple was married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. They renewed their vows on the 10th of April in Fredericton at an Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's television work is centered around the character Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk was expecting while filming the finale of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to fans during the Showcase Season Three pre-show special on January 6, 2013. Silk was involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was first conceived on the 6th of January, 2013 on Twitter, announced that she would return to the show on the 4th of June 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of fourth season. CNN has named Bo's character along with Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it as the most popular TV couple in the year 2013.
