Butler played Jennifer Hills who, after being severely attacked by a forest cabin, and sexually assaulted by a gang, vows to take revenge on those responsible. Steven R. Monroe helmed the film, that was released on October 8th, 2010. Butler began filming the psychological thriller The Stranger Within alongside Estella Warren and William Baldwin in Mallorca Spain beginning in November of 2011. In addition to New York City and Copenhagen, the film was scheduled for filming in Copenhagen Denmark. She also was part of the cast of Treachery which starred Michael Biehn. The independent feature film started filming in Los Angeles in early 2012. Butler was involved in The Demented (2013), produced by Michael Welch with Kayla and Michael Welch.

The most notable awards include The Young Artist Award (for Mermaid) and the CAMIE Award, for Best Leading Performance in a TV Movie Series or Special.
