Brandi and Jarrod from the Now and Then thrift store in Orange California participated on the show in order to purchase storage units. Their success in the reality show helped boost their business and they were able to establish a second shop in addition to the shop they were running. A spin-off titled Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was developed based on their appearance in Storage Wars.
